Solar Thermal Energy at Industrial Sector
Revista CV Energía Num. 163. SRB Energy have finished an installation of 36 UHV Collectors without tracking system on the roof of PINCASA company, a cataphoresis painting company from Valencia, painting company for automotive sector mainly. To improve the efficiency of the installation has been implemented for the UHV Collectors, cylindrical concentrators without tracking systems.

Due to the selective galvanic treatment and the level of vacuum reach, the UHV Collectors are able to achieve working temperatures around 200ºC, optimum working temperature of the paint drying oven. The annual solar energy yield will be of 85.000 kWh/year and will avoid 18 tones of CO2 emissions to the atmosphere. -

Campus provides Dutch government officials a look behind the scenes.
On June 22, 2011, 24 officials representatives from the ministries of Economic Affairs, Agriculture and Innovation, Ministry of Education, Culture and Science, and Agentschap NL accepted an invitation to visit High Tech Campus Eindhoven to see for themselves why the Brainport area is so important to The Netherlands. The fact that the latter had recently also been awarded the title of the world’s ‘Most Intelligent Community of the Year’ made the visit extra inspiring. SolCalor B.V. presents the most efficient solar collector UHV on the world, on the High Tech Campus !!!
At the official launch of our unique solar collector UHV at the High Tech Campus Eindhoven (NL) has been very well responded. Even with a thick layer of snow on the collector, the ultra-high vacuum thermal solar still produce 80 degrees, while the current solar collectors than almost deliver nothing. Read full story »
