  • All the collectors have a vacuum of 10-9 Torr, the vacuum level varies between that value and 10-6 Torr according to the solar cycle that takes place every 24 hours. With these vacuum levels, the losses are eliminated by convection and by conduction of the gasses.
  • Every collector is provided with a getter pump, which assures that the degasification of the panel materials along its life (25 years) should not lose the vacuum. It’s important to bear in mind that the vacuum collectors without the getter pump will lose the vacuum along its operation due to the materials degasification. 
  •  The selective treatment of high absorbency and low emittency, its self-made and it’s not acquired by any of the market suppliers. It reaches values higher than 90% absorbency and emittency values lower than 7%.
  • The welding of the warm glass to the metallic structure of the collector, assures both the vacuum of the panel and the life of the getter pump.
